I’m currently a student at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I attended film school at the Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmaking where I received two certificates in digital filmmaking. One with an emphasis in narrative and the other in documentary filmmaking. I am also a breaking news reporter at the Arizona Republic as well as an editor, producer and reporter for the North Star Post, an independent paper in Minneapolis. I’ve covered a variety of topics and events in Arizona and across the world. Currently I am one of a few reporters still covering the Robert Doggart case and the FBI’s aviation surveillance program. I have also worked on a wide range of documentaries and narrative films. Make sure to follow me on Twitter @JerodMacEvoy and check out my articles on azcentral.com and nstarpost.com
